The Longest Restroom Break

Before I went to work, I ate a plate of Chinese and drank a lot of juice. So much that I had to pee so badly. I didn’t have time to pee before I left the house because I was already running really late for work.

While I was driving to work, I kept thinking to myself that I was going to clock in and go to the restroom. When I finally got to work, come to find out that both up stairs and down stairs restrooms were flooded. Yea I know BOTH are flooded! What are the odds of that happening? Also I found out that if we have to use the restroom, we have to leave the building and go to the nearest gas station. Are you kidding me? I was so mad. Not only did I regret not going to use the restroom before I came to work, but now I would have to wait at least an hour to be able to leave the building, and go to the nearest gas station (that I just past).

The reason I have to wait at least an hour is because I have to wait until they approve me to go. A lot of people have to go at the same time so they let you go whenever the time is right. So I sit down and try to take my mind off having to go to the restroom, by taking a couple of calls. Man, I hate hearing people complain. Anyways when it was time for me to go, I ran to my car and drove to the gas station. My break was supposed to 15 minutes but I took a 35 minute break. I had to wait too long to go, so I took a longer break and went to the nearest store and bought a couple of things, then i went back to work. No one ever found out, so I didn’t get in trouble either. Next time I know to use the restroom before I come to work.

But it does suck that BOTH bathrooms where flooded that really does suck. I can't believe you had to wait an hour too i would of been out the door when i found out that the bathrooms where closed.Well i hope you learned your lesson to go to the bathroom before you leave your house for work.

wow that sounds horrible. I hate it when you have to go to the bathroom and dont have time or there isnt one around. That is really crazy that both bathrooms were flooded. Perfect huh? Well hopefully next time you'll learn from that experience. Good job. Grabbed my attention.

Oh, and don't forget to put up your list of links to your classmates' blogs!

Fun story, Nodie, as this is an example of how a blog doesn't have to be about an earth-shattering (just maybe a bladder-straining) event.

There are some spelling issues here (e.g., you wrote "past" when you meant "passed"), and there are some missing commas that make the reading a tad difficult in places. See me if you'd like me to point out examples of those. Starting next week, start supporting the ideas in your blogs with links! 5/5

That's funny nodie. You should have used the bathroom. I like your story because it's something that most people can relate to. I know, I have had times where I needed to use the bathroom but couldn't because something more important came up. On the other hand, I would have been like screw this, I'm going to use the bathroom. But you had to put work in front of your personal needs. You must have a really strong bladder to be holding that in like that. This is a really funny story.

That sounds like it totally sucked! I would be so pissed! I'm so glad that at my job, since I work out at Meijer Gas Station, I can go whenever I want pretty much. Except if the other person is on break or I have to stay till 11 and the other person has already left at 9.

Ha! That would happen, the day you had to pee and both the bathrooms are flooded. I hope that your bladder didn't get ruined by that. LoL I know the feeling though. At my job, we only have one restroom for everyone to use. We usually have everyone there as well, so it is hard to use the restroom when you want to. Then we have our customers that continuously find excuses why they need to use our "employees only" bathroom. Lol I can't believe you stuck it out for an hour though, I would've been done for. I have a short tolerance for things like that, so I know it must have been miserable. :)
